I really wanted to photograph Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse with the vibrant yellows and reds of the late afternoon/early evening light. However when we got out there a dense fog had rolled in and was only getting more dense. All the interesting color got sucked out of the scene, but the fog does give an interesting sense of atmosphere in black & white.
