I always find it a challenge to be able to concentrate on making photographs while on a family trip, to the point that I pretty much give up and just do one thing or the other. This trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton was a little difference since I had my big cameras with me as I am heading to Oregon in a day for a photographic trip. So when the opportunity presented itself to make some photographs, I dug out the big camera and gave it a whirl. There's nothing obviously original or different of this image of the Yellowstone River and Falls but I still like it because I had a chance to hang out with just my older daughter Maya for about 30 minutes and make photographs.
