A framed piece of rock art; a collaboration between humans and nature to commemorate Native American Heritage Day. The rock art itself made over a millennia ago is colorfully 'framed' by lichens and mosses grown over the years. The age of the rock art is a guess on my part assuming they were carved by the Sinagua who inhabited the area this was photographed for about 800 years starting at around ~600 AD. The carving was also pretty high up from the current level of the river, another indication of age given how the river has slowly carved a canyon over the years.
