McWay Falls is one of the most iconic and most photographed waterfalls on the Big Sur coast. Most days at sunset, even weekdays one can find a crowd; a mixture of the selfie-takers and photographers with their cameras on tripod. I went out at dawn to capture this image and to my delight I was the only person there the entire time. There weren't any clouds to light up, so just the usual beautiful color gradients of a sunrise on the coast.
