The same storm that ended my afternoon shoot early skunked me for the morning. The weather was actually fine with the skies clearing and the remnant bits of clouds getting lit up nicely, the color was beautiful too. The highways only had about an inch or two of snow but White Sands was closed, no doubt for safety reasons. Still, its hard not be disappointed as the conditions (snow, nice sky & light) were ideal for great photography. Instead here's another image from yesterday afternoon of the storm approaching.
