Wind Swept Glowing Branches

Wind Swept Glowing Branches - Canon R5, 238mm, f/14, 1/100s, ISO 2000.

The glowing lines of wind swept trees just kissed by the morning's first light set against the red rock cliffs of Sedona still in shade. This was exactly the kind of image I was hoping to make on my trip to Sedona, trees against beautiful cliffs. The wind was a problem the morning I made this and since I wanted some detail of the cliffs behind, requiring stopping down, I needed to boost the ISO pretty high to keep the branches sharp. The final image works and even makes for a beautiful, detailed large print.
