I remember that afternoon on a beach at Luskentyre well. We walked over some dunes down to the beach and I was struck by the wildly colored, striated rocks. I started making some images with them and then the storm in the distance picked up and looked like it was heading over. Just as I decided to pack up, a beautiful complete rainbow appeared over the composition I had been working on. Most of my images that day were in black & white but a rainbow deserves color.
