Abstractions of Shapes

So much of the area surrounding the SF Bay Area is being consumed by fire and the resulting smoke is making for strange and unnatural colors at dusk. I went for a walk last night during a reprieve from the smoke and made a few images of the twisted limbs of the Cypress, some with the color of the smoky sunlit sky, others turned into a graphic black & white. Much of this is inspired by Art Wolfe and the Pathways to Creativity class.
