I had a very different image in mind when I set up for this shot last weekend. I was trying to do what I usually do which is go after the grand landscape with the rest of Garrapata beach and blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds in the background. However, looking back I prefer this more intimate landscape with the boulder, the line patterns created by the waves and the stream going back to the ocean. This kind of intimate landscape is not my forte but its something I definitely want to get better at.
