Bears!

I just got back from spending 10 days in Katmai photographing Bears. Each day followed a similar pattern of using a float plane to fly to the wilderness, hiking 4-7 miles along the river and tundra looking for bears. It was also a wonderful chance to fully disconnect so I actually made progress in editing images too. I starting with sharing the 6 images which have been added to a new collection on my website featuring both Polar as well as Grizzly/Brown bears. I got the chance to photograph yearlings, fighting bears, fishing bears, bears on snow, an incredible Salmon run and Brooks Falls!
