Black-crowned Night Heron - Canon 1D3, 600 f/4 IS, f/5.6, 1/640s, ISO 400.

This morning I went to the Baylands to see if there was any activity. Still no egrets, but I did spot this Black-crowned Night Heron. He was nice enough to hang out fairly close and then eventually flew up onto a branch.
