Carmelite Monastary from Whaler’s Cove

I had promised to take my daughter Maya hiking at Point Lobos this weekend and were originally supposed to go on Friday.  I promptly got a cold Thursday morning which I managed to overcome enough to head out only this morning.  It was a beautiful morning and we arrived at Point Lobos within a couple of minutes of the gates opening (the best time to hike here, no crowds).  We did a few trails including Whaler’s Knoll and got out Whaler’s Cove from where you can see the highway and the Carmelite Monastery.
