I find the spectrum of the grain sizes of beach sand to be fascinating. The image shared yesterday had large pebbles that made up much of the beach where as in this image the grains are much finer. This photograph is of a large rock wall where these grains of sand have been carried by the waves and deposited. Zooming in and examining them closely reveals a similar diversity in size and color.
