This was about as far as I made it on the path to the Fairy Pools largely because I kept getting distracted with all the images you can make without even getting there. I really liked this scene because I found the colors on the rocks striking and liked the composition with the mountains and the river. This image also has a coupe of little visual treats with the lichen covered branches and the little fledgling evergreen.
