Last October, I was waiting in Ushuaia in anticipation of getting on a ship and sailing to Snow Hill Island to photograph Emperor Penguins. Today I find myself waiting to get on a ship headed to pack ice in the arctic circle to search for Polar bears. I’m finding greater excitement and anticipation on a wildlife photography trip than a landscape one these days. There is no connectivity on the ship (a good thing), so talk to folks in about 10 days!
