Fairy Circles

Fairy Circles - RX10, 27mm, f/2.8, 1/1600s, ISO 400.

These “Fairy Circles” are common in Namibia and are circular patches with no vegetation surrounded by grass.  The amazing thing is that people are still unsure about why and how they happen.  Scientists have proposed everything from termites to grasses to Ostrich and gases.
