Garrapata Coastline

I spent this past weekend in the area just north of Big Sur on a workshop with Edward Mendes. This was my third workshop with Ed and my opinion of his workshops from last time remain unchanged.

For our last shoot we went to Soberanes Point to photograph the sea arch you see above in sunset light. Unfortunately the trail leads to a little foot path that hugs the cliff edge which is problem for an acrophobe like myself. I had to stay back a bit and try to get creative with where I was positioned. In the end, I really like the image that came out, though I will head back at some point and try to muster the will to take the foot path to get a different perspective.
