There are plenty of daisies to be photographed around, but what got me to pull out the camera and make images with this one was the growth from the center. I made a series of images to try and capture how the ordered patterns of the petals get broken by the growth in the middle. Lastly by stacking many images to increase depth of field, there’s an almost painterly quality a few of the images take while still being obviously a literal photograph.
