I saw some aerial landscapes of Iceland made by Hans Strand last year and remember thinking to myself that they looked like surreal paintings. I got to experience them last night as the sun set and the cornucopia of interesting colors and textures came out. In every direction there was an interesting image to be made and this was one of the first.
