I went back nearly 4 1/2 years to work on this image from a Botswana safari in 2013. I’ve also really been enjoying the “Shooting with the Masters” series with Charlie Cramer on the Luminous Landscape website and watching Charlie’s workflow reminded me of how I used to post process my images about 12 years ago, mostly in Photoshop curves combined with loose, feathered selections and brushes. I decided to work on this one that style with just a simple conversion in Lightroom and a handful of adjustment layers with masks in Photoshop.
