Old Veteran Cypress at Point Lobos is a popular photographic subject. When we were there Sunday morning, it was entirely in the shade with the sun up and a bit behind. I decided to focus on the wonderful, gnarly exposed roots and a black & white treatment was a great way to get the roots to stand out against the cliff.
