We went on our first Gorilla trek this morning and it was spectacular. The hike up the mountain wasn’t too bad, taking us only an hour and 45 minutes to make to our group. It started raining about 15 minutes before we got to them, hard at first but then lightened up. We spent our hour with them in light rain, which drove the Gorillas into the bushes to seek shelter. Still, right when we started this Silverback was out beating his chest several times giving quite the show.
