I made this image on the first day at sea, having departing the Falkland islands on the way to South Georgia on my 2012 trip. I went with Cheeseman’s Ecology Safaris and that proved to be incredible productive photographically. It seems that Cheeseman’s is doing their last ever South Georgia trip next fall. If South Georgia Island is on your wist list of places to photograph, I high recommend getting on that expedition.
