Speckled Cracks

I am happy to add a new image from my quick trip to Death Valley this winter to my portfolio. Each time I go here I find myself looking for and captivated by making abstracts with the mud cracks. This past season, with the strong rains, the mud cracks did not disappoint. As a bonus, it had rained in the days leading up to my visit, which adds another dimension of shape and texture to the image.
