I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that while I’ve been visiting Point Lobos for years, its only today that I photographed at Weston Beach. Wow, have I been missing out! Weston Beach is probably the best place I’ve visited for intimate or abstract landscape photography. You just keep tripping over interesting compositions, definitely a place to visit when its overcast and the light is soft. It was a virtually cloudless morning on the coast so I didn’t have a lot of working time and had to use my body as a light shade for scenes like this one.
