The area of Stokksness in Iceland has gotten a lot of attention from photographers lately and there is no shortage of images of Vestrahorn Mountain, the black beach or the dunes covered in grasses but this composition really caught my eye I think this set up is ephemeral. I really like how Vestrahorn is “reflected” by the golden sand and when you pull into the sand there are layers of interesting detail. Can’t wait to see this printed large.
